Lonergan says he is firm to LSU
Replenishing the offensive line is a top point of emphasis for the LSU coaching staff with the Class of 2008 and they started early when they got a commitment from one of the state's top offensive guards.
Archbishop Rummel's P.J. Lonergan is a 6-4, 288-pound guard from the perennial powerhouse Raider program that made it all the way to the state semifinals in Class 5A a year ago.
A three-star prospect in the latest Rivals.com rankings, Lonergan is also rated as the 21st-best overall player in the State of Louisiana according to Rivals.com
Set to camp at LSU in July along with fellow offensive line commitment Clay Spencer from Parkview Baptist, Lonergan said that he is firm in his commitment to the Tigers.
