Williams is top priority for Spartans
The spring evaluation period is when teams decide which prospect they are going to recruit seriously for the class of 2008. Michigan State Head Coach Mark Dantonio has been on the road a lot this month stopping into the high schools of the players he and his staff have determined are plan "A" recruits for the class of 2008. One player who is at the top of the list as far as tight end prospects is Quentin Williams of Central Catholic High school, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Williams is an extremely athletic prospect that measures in at 6-foot-4, 230-pounds. He plays both offense and defnese for Central Catholic.
The past few weeks coaches from schools across the country have made their way to Central Catholic High School. Most schools have already decided to extend Williams a scholarship, including Michigan State, Oklahoma, Boston College, Stanford, Pittsburg, Northwestern and Wisconsin.
