Motown defender picking up offers
After clocking a 4.51 40-yard dash at a combine in San Antonio this past winter, Detroit MacKenzie defensive end Nick Perry started hearing the talk. The 6-4, 220-pound prospect has had college coaches envision him making plays from the end position with that kind of speed, but Perry will not rest on those laurels. He's working to get even better.
Michigan State was the first to send notification of their offer. Michigan has also responded with heavy interest and an official offer from the Wolverines does not look like it is that far in the future either.
