For many recruits, the early weeks of recruiting can be weeks of transition. Creighton Prep (NE) linebacker Conor McDermott said that adjusting hasn't been as hard as he thought.

The 6-foot-2 McDermott has been in touch with Illinois, Iowa State and South Dakota State. He also been to the NIKE Combine and the Rivals.com junior day at Missouri.
