BEAUFORT, (S.C.) - Over the last several years the Clemson coaching staff has reaffirmed its commitment towards upgrading the defensive end position, taking talented, athletic edge-rushers such as Ricky Sapp, Jamie Cumbie, Phillip Merling, Byron Clear, Rennie Moore Jr., Kourtnei Brown, Andre Branch, and Miguel Chavis.
And in the never-ending search for pass-rushers, another prospect has popped up on the radar of several ACC and SEC schools including Clemson.
Devin Taylor, a 6-foot-6, 212-pound jumbo athlete out of Beaufort has drawn interest from a few programs. "I'm looking for a program with good academics, the sport I play and a good environment," Taylor told Tigerillustrated.com in a recent interview.
