LSU gets first commitment for 2008

TigerBait.com The LSU football program picked up its first verbal commitment for the 2008 recruiting year Saturday afternoon from one of the top prospects in Louisiana.
"They offered me and I committed," Parkview Baptist offensive lineman Clay Spencer said. "
Spencer has been flying a bit under the recruiting radar very early in the recruiting process.
"I think he is a pretty good one. He started for us last year as a junior and came on strong there at the end," Parkview Baptist coach Kenny Guillot said.
"Really we sent some DVD's out and we haven't gotten a whole lot of feedback on them because we just sent them out."
