Is 2007 Miller time?
With running back Dwayne Wright moving on to the NFL draft, who will be the next in line to carry to torch, or in this case the rock as Fresno State looks to the future. RedWaveReport caught up with the father of Lonyae Miller on Sunday morning to give us his thoughts on the running back situation at Fresno State.
Dwayne Wright had a stellar season for the Bulldogs in 2006, racking up 1,462 yards and 11 touchdowns in leading the Fresno State rushing attack.
Behind Wright were two freshmen in Lonyae Miller Jr. and Anthony Harding, who seem to be the favorites heading into the 2007 season, combining for 423 yards and three touchdowns as true freshmen in 2006.
Lonyae Miller Sr. is the charismatic father of Miller Jr., and says he thinks both players have special things to offer to the position and thinks both players will excel in the offense next season.
