The defending SEC Champions Georgia Bulldogs began SEC play against the South Carolina Gamecocks in Columbia on a late Saturday night. Senior quarterback Joe Tereshinski prepared all week for his first SEC road victory, but head coach Mark Richt was unclear about which of his two freshman quarterbacks (Joe Cox or Matthew Stafford) would be the number two quarterback for the game.
