Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna four-star cornerback Akeem Auguste, the Sunshine State's No. 22 overall prospect, committed to the South Carolina Gamecocks last week. The 5-foot-11, 175-pound Auguste chose to bring his talents to the Palmetto State for multiple reasons.

"The biggest reason is because the SEC is the place to be," he said. "Also, when I went up there for my visit, I clicked with the players. They were all down to earth. Plus I feel like I make a quick impact there. I think I can make something big happen next year."
