Back in 2005 SpartanMag.com reported frequently on Stony Creek High School offensive tackle prospect Jake Vermiglio. We liked what we saw out of Vermiglio, and were somewhat surprised when he only ended up with an offer from Eastern Michigan University.

Vermiglio never enrolled at Eastern Michigan; instead he took his talents to Milford Academy in New York to compete against many of the best prospects in the nation. The move looks like it is defiantly going to pay-off.

He now has offers from Eastern Michigan, Ohio University and N.C. State.
