Jefferson returns from Iowa City
Three-star wide receiver Kyle Jefferson is back home in Cleveland this afternoon after making an official visit to the University of Iowa. The 6-foot-5, 195-pound Jefferson, who attends Glenville High School, said the visit to Iowa City went well this weekend.
Jefferson, who rated the visit a seven on a scale from one to ten, had the chance to catch up this weekend with former high school teammates Arvell Nelson and Derrick Smith, both of whom are freshmen at Iowa this year. Nelson served as Jefferson's host on the visit and according to the three-star prospect, both of his former teammates are happy with their decision to come to Iowa.
Jefferson, who caught 30 passes for 400 yards and eight touchdowns this year, is taking his time to make sure he finds his own right fit before signing day in February. After visiting Wisconsin and Iowa this month, the three-star prospect will head to Indiana and Purdue in January. Currently, all four schools are even on his list with no favorites.
