Practice buildup

USCFootball.com The Trojans were back on the practice field Thursday afternoon, putting the pads on for the first time since the UCLA game. The defense appears to be ahead of the offense as both quarterbacks threw several passes to their teammates on the other side of the ball. We talked with cornerback Terrell Thomas as he and the guys start to focus on Michigan.
"We put on the helmets last week and we finally got the shells on," Thomas said after Thursday's practice. "I think Saturday we will be in full pads getting ready for next week's full practice when we are going to install everything."
Thomas knows time is running out before the last game of his junior year.
"We are trying to get ready, we have two weeks before our bowl game and we have a little break in there for Christmas."
