Herron has a quick answer for U-M

TheWolverine.com Sugarland (Texas) Fort Bend Dulles linebacker Brandon Herron took an official visit to Michigan this past weekend despite not holding an official scholarship offer from the Wolverines. When the 6-2, 205-pound prospect left Ann Arbor, he still did not have that official offer in hand, but Michigan assistant coach Fred Jackson was in Sugarland today and a few things got ironed out.
"I just committed to Michigan," Herron commented. "I think the only reason why Lloyd Carr didn't offer me is because I didn't say 'I want to be a great football player,' so I guess he was hesitant to offer me. I talked to him more about education. Coach Jackson and I got that straight.
