LSU speed catches Notre Dame's attention

Was that smoke coming from Trindon Holliday's shoes? In LSU's regular season finale at Arkansas, the 5-foot-5 freshman returned a kickoff 92 yards for a touchdown, dragging his feet through the end zone and kicking up the black rubber particles nestled into the War Memorial Stadium artificial turf. The special effect fit Holliday, who won four 200-meter state titles in high school and three titles in the 100-meter sprint. Holliday has speed to spare. So does just about everybody else on the LSU roster.
