Time to play for a title
Arkansas put together another productive day on the practice field as they prepare for a multiple Florida offense and a defense that is one of the nation's best.
The Razorbacks are coming off a 31-26 loss at the hands of LSU on Friday after reeling off 10 wins in-a-row. The Hogs hope to get back on the winning track this week, and they will need great preparation to do so, according to Arkansas coach Houston Nutt.
"When you win for 10-straight weeks, boy you're not used to that feeling we had, and that's the way you want it," Nutt said. "You don't want to get used to losing every, so they were a little bit more hungry when they came to practice this week.
"The one thing they do offensively, a lot like we do, there's a lot of multiple sets, and it takes a lot of preparation time. You've got [Tim] Tebow that can play quarterback. You've also got Percy Harvin, along with Chris Leak, so there's a lot of formations that have to be covered, a lot of preparation."
Due to a missed extra point on the game's first touchdown last week and a failed two-point conversion attempt to try to play catch-up, Arkansas found itself in a 14-12 ballgame against the Tigers. The Hogs have done exceptionally well all season in special teams, but they gave up the first kickoff return for a touchdown since a 2000 game against Ole Miss.
