Loss Of Equilibrium
The Arizona football team will be bringing both a staggering offense and defense to Pullman this weekend - but with two very different interpretations of the word "staggering". Defensively, the Wildcats are about as hard-hitting of a bunch that one will find in the conference - their hits will stagger an opponent if they are not paying close attention. Conversely, the Wildcat offense has been about as staggeringly stinky as an offense could be this year without calling itself Stanford. Most of the problems center around the ability of the rushing game to get untracked and part of the problem is due to youth on the offensive line and injuries to key positions - quarterback being chief among them - with season-starting quarterback Willie Tuitama being knocked out, literally, with two concussions earlier in the year. After sitting out for two weeks, Tuitama has been cleared to play this week against the Cougars and the logical conclusion is that head coach Mike Stoops will be starting Tuitama on Saturday against the Cougars, but he has not made it official yet.
