Duke football: Five questions vs. Florida State
1) Can Duke run the ball as successfully against Florida State as it did against Alabama?
The Blue Devil running game awoke from a deep sleep with a 201 yard total at Alabama. It certainly helps having a healthy Justin Boyle and Ronnie Drummer on the field, but Requan Boyette and Clifford Harris both had excellent games in Tuscaloosa as well. The offensive line played its best game of the season against Alabama, but the running backs also did a good job making at least one tackler miss. The Devils will be going against a Florida State defense that has been decimated by injuries in recent weeks. NC State exploited the Seminoles for 150 yards rushing in its win last Thursday, which was 25 yards more than the Wolfpack's average going into the game. Duke has a good opportunity to continue a strong ground game with another good week of execution.
