Five questions for the bye week
Normally, we call this segment 'Five questions post-(fill in name of previous opponent here), but this week we're changing the name because Duke fans have no desire to remember last week and an off week for the Blue Devils may be just what the doctor ordered. So we'll focus our attention forward instead of backward.
1) Is everything still OK with Thaddeus Lewis?
Duke coach Ted Roof indicated after Saturday's game that Lewis should be healthy and ready to go by the time Virginia and Duke meet at Wallace Wade Stadium on September 30th. It still appears to be a safe bet that Lewis will be under center to start the game against the Cavaliers after sustaining a concussion in the loss to Virginia Tech. Duke fans have stewed over the late hits that piled up on Lewis in the game last week, and while Roof took the high road in his postgame comments, one has to assume he wasn't pleased either.
