It has been a rough two weeks for The Woodlands, Texas standout Taylor Charbonnet. His Highlander squad narrowly dropped their first two games of the season, losing to Smithson Valley 17-3 and Katy 10-7. Charbonnet's older brother, Texas Tech sophomore safety Daniel Charbonnet, knows a thing or two about close games as he played in a nail-biter last Saturday against UTEP.

While the opportunity to play with his brother played a role in his decision to commit to the Red Raiders in July, there were other factors in play as well, including his relationship with co-offensive coordinator and inside receivers coach Dana Holgorsen.
