If Alabama opened up today: The Defense
With Hawai'i's high octane offense set to visit Tuscaloosa for the season opener, Alabama defensive coordinator Joe Kines has plenty to cover with a unit looking to replace seven starters. Fall camp answered some questions, but Kines still has a few difficult decisions to make.
With that in mind, BOL decided to take a stab at what the Tide's defensive personnel might look like on Spet. 2.
With five players expected to see considerable playing time, the defensive end spots represent the strength of the front four. Wallace Gilberry is a proven commodity on the left side, and right defensive end Keith Saunders has gone from fringe recruit to starter in just a few years time.
