Cowboys shifting focus
STILLWATER - After a day off for the first day of classes at Oklahoma State on Monday, the Cowboy footballers were back in action on Tuesday afternoon.
Head coach Mike Gundy put his troops through a workout running a little over two hours that was designed to get them back into the flow and prep for their final scrimmage of the preaseason on Wednesday afternoon.
"It was good effort, guys running around," Gundy said. "We had a pretty long two-minute drill at the end, which is a good conditioning tool for us. That worked out well."
In Wednesday's scrimmage, Gundy said the Cowboys will likely go against themselves, as opposed to scout teams replicating September 2 opponent Missouri State.
They have already started installing parts of the game plan for the opener and will turn their focus totally to MSU after tomorrow's scrimmage session.
