Texas kicker has Cougar offer
Like many kickers at the high school level, Adi Kunalic started out as a soccer player. He was encouraged to join the football team his sophomore year. It's a move that has paid dividends for the 6-foot, 175-pounder from Fort Worth, Texas, who already holds a D-1 scholarship offer.
"Everything is going pretty good right now," he explained. "I worked out with my kicking coach the weekend before last. He said I was doing really well. He runs the kicking camps at LSU. He wanted to me to come out there for a camp but I couldn't make it. I guess there were a lot of kids at that camp and my kicking coach said I'm better than anyone he saw there.
"So I am probably going to see if I can impress LSU and get an offer from them. (Texas) Tech has also said they are going to try to get me a scholarship but it probably wouldn't be until the fall. I'm going to be attending camps at Oklahoma State and Colorado State later this month."
