Georgia fullback is AU's sixth commitment

AuburnSports.com Auburn picked up it sixth commitment Sunday following the first of two summer senior camps.
Augusta, Ga., Aquinas fullback John Douglas, a 6-foot-1, 235-pound bruiser, picked up an offer from the Tigers and didn't waste any time accepting it.
"I got what I wanted, a scholarship offer, and I committed," said Douglas. "I really enjoyed the coaching staff and like the atmosphere around this town. I think I fit in really well with the people around here."
Douglas, who was a relatively unknown entering the camp, was very impressive on the Plains not only in foot drills, but catching the ball out of the backfield in 1-on-1s versus linebackers. Douglas ran a 4.7 40-yard dash and posted a 30-inch vertical leap.
