Texas staff send an offer out to Dallas star
Heading into the Texas one-day camp on Sunday, it was widely believed that there was a good chance that Mack Brown and his staff might offer one of the top defensive backs from the day's workout.
Indeed, the Longhorns offered a defensive back following the camp this weekend, but as it turns out the offer has gone out to a player that didn't attend Sunday's camp.
The new defensive back target for the Longhorns is Dallas (Texas) Skyline star Christian Scott.
While Scott hasn't been on the UT radar for most of the spring, schools from across the country have been knocking down doors in the Metroplex in an effort to make inroads with the 6-0, 185-pound playmaker. Among those that offered prior to the Longhorns are Oklahoma, LSU, Florida, Florida State and Tennessee.
