Lamark Brown opens things up again
At the Missouri one-day camp in St. Louis last year, Hazelwood West star Lamark Brown might have been the most impressive camper despite being just a junior. At Sunday's one-day workout at Washington University, it was Brown again who created the most buzz, but this time it was because the top talent showed up at Mizzou's camp despite being committed to Kansas State for three months.
But that no longer seems to be the case.
Missouri, which was the first school to extend Brown an offer, got a chance to see him in action on Sunday when he benched 225 pounds 13 times and posted a vertical leap of a little better than 30 inches. But the Tigers won't be the last to get a camp visit.
The race is back on to land Brown, who was listed as the No. 2 player in the Show-Me State in the pre-summer rankings by PowerMizzou.com.
