UCLA offers behemoth
The Bruins made their first and only offer to an offensive lineman last week when UCLA offered possibly the best behemoth in the west if not the country when they threw their hat into the ring for the services of Kristofer O'Dowd from Tucson, Ariz., Salpointe Catholic.
The Bruins joined a plethora of other schools that includes Arizona, Arizona State, Cal, Oregon State, USC, Washington, Tennessee, Baylor, Nebraska, Texas Tech, New Mexico State, Nevada, Michigan State and Ohio State that have offers on the table.
"I talked to coach Dino Babers and he said to me 'how can we not offer Kristofer O'Dowd' and that was pretty flattering coming from coach Babers," O'Dowd said. "UCLA looks pretty good. I think they will probably be among my top five."
