One of the first recruits to commit to Jim Harbaugh after the former Cardinal head coach joined the Stanford program before the 2007 was an unheralded fullback/linebacker recruit from Jesuit High School in Portland, current NFL fullback Owen Marecic.

Seven years later, another two-way player from Jesuit with significant interest in Stanford has emerged on the recruiting radar. 6-foot-3, 215-pound Joey Alfieri doesn't currently hold a Cardinal offer, but the four-star recruit is well-aware of the Jesuit-to-Palo Alto pipeline.
