Travis finds success closer to the basket

Ross Travis isn't out of the woods, yet.

Against Michigan, Penn State's sophomore forward scored 11 points on 4 of 10 shooting from the floor, and grabbed 10 rebounds for his first career Big Ten double-double.

The scoring output was Travis' highest since he led the Nittany Lions with 14 points against Indiana on Jan. 7. In the meantime, more than a month of offensive struggles had lowered his scoring average from 7.2 down to 6.4 points per game, and briefly took away his starting role.
