Nebraska ended a considerable dry spell on the recruiting front when secured the verbal commitment of Yuma (Ariz.) Arizona Western C.C. defensive end Randy Gregory on Thursday night.

The 6-foot-6, 235-pound, athlete became the 14th verbal commit in the class of 2013 and helps fill a position of great need for the Huskers. Gregory, a former Purdue commit, chose Nebraska over 16 other offers and likely had more coming his way.
