Tre Walker remembers Dec. 8, 2003 pretty well. That's the day he had to return to Fort Riley Middle School, near Manhattan, and hear all about it from his classmates and teachers. Like so many others across the nation, Kansas State and Bill Snyder had proven him wrong.
