James excels on both sides
KENOSHA - Though he's expected to play on the defensive line at Wisconsin, Alec James made his presence felt at both tailback and defensive end during a scrimmage Friday at Tremper High School.
The 6-foot-4, 220-pound three-star prospect led Brookfield East on both sides of the ball during competition against Milwaukee Riverside, Greendale and Kenosha Tremper. He recently gave his verbal commitment to the Badgers on Aug. 6, choosing UW over offers from Notre Dame, TCU, Clemson and Michigan State, among others.
