It's the offer Damon Webb was waiting for, but it still caught him a bit by surprise. Michigan coaches offered the Detroit Cass Tech class of 2014 wide receiver/cornerback Thursday afternoon, a big one for the 5-11, 170-pounder.

"He's excited about it. I could hear him smiling through the phone," Webb's father, Damon Sr., said with a laugh.
