Michigan State captain Draymond Green added to his substantial legacy by leading the Spartans to their first Big Ten Tournament Championship since 2000 and their first No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament since 2001.

Adreian Payne continued to build his resume as a thorn in the side of the Big Ten team from his home state. Brandon Wood capped of his return home to the state of Indiana with a 21-point performance on 8-of-10 shooting against Ohio State.

Wood also played the best defense of his career, holding William Buford to 11 points on 4-of-12 shooting.
