Turning point:

Vanderbilt led 46-36 with 15:37 left in the game after a Jeffery Taylor dunk, and appeared to be in control of the game given the way the 'Dores were defending and making shots. Xavier answered with a mini-run to cut the lead to five with 14:14 left, but VU answered and led 51-42 with 12:47 to play.

The five men on the floor for VU at that point were Kyle Fuller, Dai-Jon Parker, John Jenkins, Lance Goulbourne and Josh Henderson, and that's when disaster started to strike.

Xavier's B>Mark Lyonsstarted things off with a layup and a foul shot at 12:47, and Goulbourne came out for Rod Odom.

Fifteen seconds later, Tu Holloway stole the ball from Jenkins and hit a layup to cut the lead to four.
