Scott Keeping His Feet on the Ground
After picking up numerous offers prior to just the fourth game of his junior season it isn't crazy to think that Tahlequah (Okla.) Sequoyah star quarterback Brayden Scott might have something of an inflated view of himself. However anyone who thought as much of the 6-foot-2, 185-pound has never met his father Brent Scott and perhaps more notably his grandfather, legendary Oklahoma high school coach Bill Scott.
After a rough outing in a 35-28 loss to Verdigris on Friday night the youngest Scott made a trip to Norman to take in Oklahoma's 38-28 defeat of Big 12 foe Missouri. However on Sunday he was quickly reminded of the importance of humility.
"Actually I just got in. I had to mow the yard, probably because I had a bad game," Scott joked. "I had five interceptions and a fumble, you can't win a game when one player has six turnovers."
