In last weekend's Kirk Herbstreit Classic in Cowboys Stadium, New Orleans Edna Karr opened up the day's action by taking on Arlington (Texas) Bowie. Though Edna Karr eventually fell 36-6, several Cougars certainly stood out.

One of the most imposing prospects on the team is tight end Standish Dobard. Though the 6-foot-5, 235-pound junior was not much of a weapon in the passing game, being held to one catch, he showed he could block well too. Still, he saw plenty of room for improvement.
