Les Miles and his staff picked up their second commitment in the defensive backfield Saturday afternoon when Hahnville's Jerquinick Sandolph committed to the Bayou Bengals.

"It was a mixture of things," Sandolph said. "LSU is of course close to home but they are also a school with a very good academic program. I also know and you can see by the amount of young players that have played recently in that secondary that I will get the opportunity to play early for LSU."
