Centerville guard Benny McGowan did not travel to Michigan State for the annual Green-White Game with the intent of making a commitment.

But when McGowan arrived on campus and experienced the spring game from the sidelines, the 6-foot-4, 300-pounder decided that Mark Dantonio's program was the right fit for him.

"I really didn't know what I was going to do," said McGowan, "I got up there and liked everything about Michigan State and decided to commit. I feel really good about the decision, I feel really good about everything."
