Monrovia (Calif.) junior defensive tackle Ellis McCarthy has been a consistent presence on the campuses of USC and UCLA this spring. Last fall, both crosstown rival schools verbally offered the Army All-American defensive tackle. April 15, both schools re-emphasized that McCarthy was a high priority recruit.
