Wildcats avoid letdown, crunch OU

GoPowercat.com Nothing else has gone as expected this season, so why should the traditional post-upset hangover be any different? On Saturday, the letdown that has become familiar in Manhattan recently was conspicuously absent. Instead, Kansas State took the hair-of-the-dog approach by kicking back another dose of the formula that contributed to its win over Kansas just days ago. This time around, it was Jeff Capel's Oklahoma team that was left to deal with the fallout, as Jacob Pullen scored 27 points to help the Wildcats shove around the Sooners to the tune of a 77-62 victory.
