Markieff Morris leads KU to blowout victory
Five days ago, Markieff Morris played what he considered one of the worst games of his college career. In KU's 16 point loss to Kansas State in Manhattan, Morris, the 6-foot-10, 245-pound center from Philadelphia, Pa., scored just three points and didn't grab a single rebound. On Saturday, Morris didn't waste any time playing the best game of his career. He scored a career-high 26 points and tied his career-high in rebounds with 15, as No. 1 Kansas (25-2; 10-2) defeated Colorado (16-11; 5-7) 89-63. The Jayhawks also pulled to within one game of Texas, as the Longhorns suffered their first conference loss of the season against Nebraska.
