Cats hope to hear sound of silence
Jacob Pullen remembers the scene. He remembers swimming through the ocean of bodies and how the court filled almost instantly after the final buzzer. He remembers Michael Beasley standing on press row, arms to the sky in celebration and how the crescendo of cheers eventually just became noise. That memory will become three years old on Sunday. On Saturday, when Kansas State faces No. 6 Kansas at Allen Fieldhouse, nothing would please Pullen more than to hear silence.
