Interesting November for TU Basketball
Tulsa knew it lost a lot of talent when Jerome Jordan and Ben Uzoh left the program after the 2009-10 season.
What it learned in the first month of the 2010-11 season was that guard Justin Hurtt is more than willing to fill any void they left.
Hurtt burst out of the gates averaging 18.3 points per game through the team's first six contests to go along with 4.2 rebounds per game and a solid 42.4 percent 3-point shooting clip.
Even though it's early, Hurtt has already laid out the groundwork for a C-USA Player of the Year type of season.
The thing that has head coach Doug Wojcik most proud through the team's 4-2 start to the season, however, is the way the team is bonding and playing together in the absence of last year's stars.
