When Rivals.com released their latest rankings update, one player who made a big jump was Danville (Ky.) Boyle County linebacker Lamar Dawson. The 6-2, 230-pound Dawson had been ranked around the No. 100 spot in previous rankings, but now resides as the nation's No. 54 overall prospect.

The reason for the jump had a lot to do with Dawson's performance on the field this fall. He has helped lead Boyle County to a perfect 14-0 record on the season while playing running back as well as linebacker for the Rebels.
