Allen: 'best feeling I ever had'
EAST LANSING - During the bye week leading up to Michigan State's game with Purdue, red-shirt freshman linebacker Denicos Allen was put back onto Michigan State's punt coverage unit. The All-Ohio standout was taken off the unit in early October.
Allen, a 5-foot-10, 212 pound converted safety who was named defensive player of the year in Ohio as a senior at Hamilton, made the most of his second chance by blocking the punt of Cody Webster to set up a game-winning touchdown run by Kirk Cousins from three yards out late in the fourth quarter.
"It was the best feeling that I ever had," said Allen, "the best feeling I have ever had in my football experience, my whole career."
