Appalachian State preview

BulldogBlitz.com Mississippi State has had one week to work out some of the kinks following a 75-65 win over Tennessee State.
The Bulldogs will be able to see exactly how much progress they've made tonight when they host undefeated Appalachian State at 7 p.m.
This will be the first ever meeting on the hardwood between MSU and the Mountaineers. The Bulldogs are however 37-11 all-time against teams from the Southern Conference last facing Chattanooga in a 64-48 season opening win in 2005-06.
State enters tonight's game shooting 37.5-percent and averaging 75 points per game. The Bulldogs are shooting 43.5-percent from 3-point range and also knocking down 82.1-percent from the free throw line. They are also out-rebounding their opponents by seven and also allowing their opposition to shoot 35.9-percent and score 65 points an outing.
