The fall was supposed to be straightforward for Rancho Cucamonga (Calif.) safety Daimion Stafford.

Having verbally committed to Nebraska, the 6-foot-1, 210-pound safety thought he had his recruitment taken care of. He only had to play his second season at Chaffey Community College before becoming a Cornhusker.

But autumn brought about change in the four-star defensive back's recruitment.
