Short yardage struggles for Florida
After the Florida Gators failed miserably against Alabama in the red zone and on third down, there are plenty of questions about who Florida will get the tough yards from on third and fourth down.
Florida's first drive against the Crimson Tide illustrated those questions. The Gators had three chances to punch it in for a touchdown from inside the Alabama 2 yard line.
On those three plays, Florida opted to run Trey Burton up the middle for a 1-yard gain, run Burton up the middle for a 1-yard loss, and have Burton throw a jump pass that was picked off in the end zone.
