Mullen shaking things up Tuesday
For the past few years it has been a given that Mississippi State's offense wore maroon jerseys at practice while their defensive counterpart donned white.
However the roles were reversed on Tuesday with the Bulldogs heading on the road and planning to wear white for the first time this season. The reason to change the practice jersey color for the offense was stated simply by head coach Dan Mullen.
"We're on the road so I want to make sure our quarterbacks throw to the guys in the white jerseys on Saturday," Mullen said.
MSU practiced in full gear for a little over two hours on Tuesday afternoon and the effort and work ethic pleased the second-year head coach as he left the field.
