Florida offense struggles against Tide
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. ---- John Brantley tried to find the words, but how do you explain a 31-6 loss? How do you explain three interceptions? How do you explain four quarters without a touchdown?
"Personally, I'm sorry, but doesn't really matter," Brantley said. "It's a team, it's a team thing. I'm sure there's some good stuff and some bad stuff. I know we're going to watch film tomorrow and figure that stuff out and move on and get ready for LSU."
In the biggest game of the season, the biggest of his career, Brantley played less than his best, completing just over 50 percent of his passes for 202 yards with one sack and two interceptions against top-ranked Alabama Saturday.
"That's what happens you when you play such a good team," Brantley said. "The way we bounce back from that, we stay together. That was one of the big positives that came out of tonight. We just kept fighting."
